A new feature is available in release R2025e (July 2025) to generate work orders on the 1st of the month. This feature is useful for PMs of monthly or every-X-month schedules. For instance, a PM is due by end of the month, and its PM work orders are generated on the 1st of the month (screenshot below).
- Ahead By is a new field in PM form. Set it to "1st of Month" to generate PMs on the 1st of month. Set it to "Ahead" for number of days or months ahead defined in "Ahead" and "Ahead Unit".
- Ahead By can be used with Ahead Unit of month to generate PM work orders on the 1st of month X months ahead (next screenshot).
Here is a summary with examples to use the three fields.
